Lina Alcala is Chief People Officer at Tinder and has global responsibility for human resources, internal communications, DE&I, and workplace experience for the world's most popular app for meeting new people. During her 6 year tenure, she has led the organization through hypergrowth from 100 to 600+ employees, expanded the company’s global footprint across 15+ new markets in APAC, EMEA and LATAM, and led the merger and acquisition of Tinder by Match Group, an S&P 500 company.
Prior to Tinder, she spent 2 years at Hulu leading learning and development strategies to support the launch of Hulu’s new live-TV SVOD product. Prior to joining Hulu, she worked at BlackLine Systems, a B2B software automating the financial close process, where she helped scale the team from 100 to 250 employees leading their talent management team.
Lina holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles and a M.A. in Organizational Development from Alliant University.
