Lina Alcala is Chief People Officer at Tinder and has global responsibility for human resources, internal communications, DE&I, and Talent Acquisition. Since 2017, she has led the organization through hypergrowth from 100 to 600+ employees and expanded the company’s global footprint across 15+ new markets in APAC, EMEA, and LATAM.
Prior to Tinder, she spent two years at Hulu leading learning and development strategies to support the launch of Hulu’s new live-TV SVOD product. Prior to joining Hulu, she worked at BlackLine Systems, a B2B software automating the financial close process, where she led their talent management strategy.
Lina holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles and a M.A. in Organizational Development from Alliant University.
