Chris Hughes is looking to couple up on Tinder
Joining eight famous ex-islanders on the app as part of ‘Swipe Island’
Chris Hughes has today revealed he’s on Tinder in a bid to crack on and find love this summer.
A Love Island legend and self-confessed romantic, Chris’s Tinder profile gives a glimpse into what he’s all about - from rapping to lift the mood, to winning more than girls, by playing golf.
In an attempt to turn your head, Chris has also enlisted his loveable pup to star in a video on his profile, using Tinder’s brand new video feature which launched this week, enabling Tinder members a new way to tell their authentic stories and express themselves.
The rest of Chris’ profile reveals his ‘Passions’, which help you spark a connection over a shared interest. Chris’ ‘Passions’ include travel (when we can), doing it for the ‘gram, and sports as he welcomes a little healthy competition.
Ready to set pulses racing and turn heads, the rapper ex-islander is one of nine famous faces on Tinder’s Swipe Island - an in-app virtual paradise.
Swipe Island will be live during the Summer months, coinciding with the TV series, Love Island. However, Swipe Island will only be live for a limited time. The next time Swipe Island will open will be on 28th June 8pm-10pm - so you can couple up whilst watching the antics unfold during the first episode of Love Island.
When asked why Chris had joined Tinder and will be on Swipe Island this summer, he said: “Swipe Island reminds me of the villa - lots of chats, minus the firepit and sunburn... I am excited to see who I can meet, it really is going to be the ‘Summer of Love’ this year and we all deserve a little fun along the way…”
The other ex-islanders Chris is joining include Kaz Crossley, Anton Danyluk, Curtis Pritchard, Amy Hart, Jess Gale, Eve Gale, Demi Jones and Ched Uzor,
Swipe Island opened on 20th of June for the first time, which saw numerous conversations and matches in the short two hour window the island was live on Tinder.
How Swipe Island Works:
Swipe Island will be open at intervals throughout the summer
When Swipe Island is open, members will be served a notification encouraging them to open the app and visit the Island
Once the Tinder app is opened, an in app invite will appear on screen, asking whether they would like to visit Swipe Island but be quick, the Island will only be open for a few hours before it closes again meaning members have to wait until next time it’s opened to crack on
